His tribe had been conquered when he was young, resulting in the enslavement of him and his people. After biding his time and escaping his circumstances, he ended up at Rehjolvnatys and began to pursue education and research there, driven by his desire to learn more about the vast world he lived in. He can often be found with his nose buried in a book while accompanying his friends Allen Hevaxej, Eleanor Lottbrung, and Aidan Fasura, and his special talent is always having on hand some strangely specific, but always pragmatically useless pieces of trivia, such as the optimal temperature for boiling the wolf-like zytoist's kidneys to soften it without melting the crystalised venom inside, whereupon said venom can then be extracted as a reagent. Dmitri's hobbies include debate, research, and potion-brewing. His bonded weapon is a pair of daggers named Auriens. Its trinket form is an armband on his right arm.
